Conferences and Symposia
The NAIS hosts and sponsors conferences, symposia, workshops and guest lectures throughout the year. We've hosted international conferences like the American Society for Ethnohistory, co-sponsored events like the Department of Religion's "More Than Human" symposium, and will support the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics when it hosts the Florida Linguistics Yearly Meeting in October 2026.
